Dubai Air Wing is the paramilitary airline of the government of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Thai Airways will be taking delivery of three new Boeing 777-300ERs shortly, the first of which will potentially be in the carrier’s possession within weeks. Thai Airways committed to leasing these planes back in 2018, though this is the first I’ve heard of it.
The airline is used by the Dubai Royal Family, namely the Emir of Dubai, as well as government officials.
The airline provided Emirates with their first aircraft but are not affiliated beyond both having ties with the government of Dubai.
Its main base is in the southeastern corner of the Dubai International Airport.[1]
